X2 Resorts Kui Buri: Overview

Opened In December 2007, the first X2 resort at Kui Buri (pronounced goo-wee… boo-ree).

The area remains unspoilt, with little development to spoil the natural beauty. A peaceful location to begin with, the only communities being local fishing villages. great efforts in design of the villas has been taken to ensure the area remains natural. The resort is located on virgin beachfront land covering over 4 acres (12 Rai). The 23 semi private villas each have their own terrace, garden and most with private pools.

The existing landscape of large, well developed trees has been carefully preserved, and provides a unique atmosphere punctuated by large open spaces and unique natural horticulture.

Featuring spacious private terrace, a garden patio, entertainment including a home theatre/ DVD/ LCD with satellite TV, a movie and music library, a selection of magazines and of course free high speed WiFi internet access throughout the resort.

All X2 resorts have their signature 4K restaurant (pronounced “fork”) and bar. The menu is a mix of eastern and western dishes and the best of fusion. Local products in season tend to dominate the menu, so guests can be assured that their stay will also be a culinary delight.

International executive chefs offer a wide range of fusion European and Thai dishes. Soon to be one of the most reputed restaurants on the gulf, the 4K restaurant and bar at X2 provides all day dining for guests between 7:00 am. and 11:00 pm.

Seminar Rooms
The resort has several alternative facilities available for small groups. The Owner’s Villa is suitable for groups of senior executives from 4 to 8 people.

Although X2 resorts focus is pure and simple relaxation, they do offer a number of interesting activities for those that want to do and see a little more.

Mountain Biking
Whether on the beach or the tracks through local villages, the relatively underdeveloped locale of the resort provides an interesting adventure and is a great way to explore at your own pace.

SCUBA Diving and Snorkelling
Day trips are organised with local diving companies, and provide an interesting and enjoyable day out for those that love the water. Dive spots range from beginner to advanced so weather it's your first lesson or your a seasoned diver there's something for you.

Yoga
Yoga is offered as part of the Spa facility, morning and afternoon Yoga is arranged for guests.

Golf
There are international class golf courses in the area. Games and coaching can be arranged at the request of guests. Just ask at reception for details and tee times.

Fishing
Not the usual activity of most resorts, but with X2 Kui Buri being located close to a local fishing village. The fisherman offer to take guests out for an authentic evening of squid fishing the Thai way. Definitely something to write home about. Other fishing options are also available.
