Can't find what you are looking for? Tell our Hua Hin experts in what you are interested in and we will add it to our Hua Hin Transport. By BusThere are regular services from Bangkok to Hua Hin with air conditioned and non air conditioned busses leaving from the Southern Bus terminal in Bangkok. They run every 30 minutes starting at 5:00 am until 10:00 pm, the journey takes about 3 hours. The rates range from 100 Baht to 200 Baht. Buses leaving Hua Hin to Bangkok depart from the bus station located at Srasong Road near Dechabichit Road every 30 to 40 minutes and start at 3:00 am until 9:00 pm. By AirHua Hin is serviced by the national airline: Bangkok Airways with daily services from Bangkok 4 times a day. Typically, air fares start from 5800 Baht round trip. The Shuttle service is a 40 minutes flight using a 12 seat Cessna aircraft. Several International charter companies provide flights from Hong Kong and Singapore. Additional charter flights depart from several capital cities Europe and Russia. LimousinesMost major hotels in Hua Hin provide limousine transportation from Bangkok but arrangements have to be made in advance. The transportation runs about 700 Baht and it takes about 2.5 hours via modern highways. TaxisYou can arrange a taxi drive from Bangkok for about 1500 Baht and takes 2.5 hours. Make the price arrangements with the driver before getting in the cab. Bargaining is part of the culture so don't take the first offer. By TrainThere are several trains departing from Bangkok to Hua Hin which is on the Syrat Thani rail line, it takes about 4 hours and has the value added of pristine rural country views. They depart from both train stations in Bangkok; Hualamphong Station and Thonburi Station. The 2nd class ticket runs about 220 Baht and provides an air conditioned cart with comfortable seats. The journey is slow getting out of Bangkok, as you may expect, but once the train is on the country side it picks up speed. There is food and beverage service on the train. A word of advice... Be aware of pickpockets, watch you wallet and valuables. In recent years a tourist trap has been growing at Hualamphong train station between the station's police and a travel agency located across the street; the officers will try to rush you there and make you purchase a first class sleeper car train ticket for 700 Baht, but honestly, it is not necessary to have a sleeper for a 4 hour ride, so excuse yourself then go back to the station and buy the class you want. When you arrive at Hua Hin's train station spend some time walking around this beautiful historic building reminiscent of the 1920s in a Thai Victorian architectural style. You can also pick up a good city map in the rail station.
